Minwaashin Lodge-Aboriginal Women's Support Centre

Provides a range of programs and services to First Nation, Inuit and Metis women and children who are survivors of domestic and other forms of violence and who may be also suffering from the effects of the residential school system. Counseling services range from ages 12 + to 100 yrs inclusive. We have Mental Health Counseling; Youth Counseling; Substance Abuse Counseling; Sexual Abuse Counseling and Traditional Therapy with Elder Irene Lindsay.

Young Women's Emergency Shelter

Individual counselling for young women aged 12 to 20 who are staying on-site is accessed through the Youth Services Bureau.
Other services offered to women staying on-site: emergency housing, crisis counselling, referrals, links to financial services, case management.
